Savoury, juicy, honest
This organic blend of Grenache, Syrah and Merlot is made in the 16th century Chateau de Caraguilhes, which was once part of a Cistercian abbey located near Carcasonne.
Savoury and rustic, it delivers aromas of tangy red fruits, garrigue, leather, tobacco and pencil shavings. The palate is juicy and earthy; with bright red berries, spice, cocoa, tealeaf and earth. It's an honest wine, and best suited to food.
Pair: game meats, aged and crumbly cheeses, hearty eggplant dishes.
